How to Care For Your Hair
Sealing the Weft:

To help the hair last as long as possible it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO SEAL WEFT using an adhesive.

If you are doing a sew installation it is important to sew around the wefts and not sew through the

wefts. DO NOT CUT THE WEFT during installation unless its absolutely necessary. The fold over method is

recommended; if you do cut the wefts it is important to seal the ends of the weft.

Shampooing

Before washing your extensions, it is best to gently comb it out to remove any tangles. Please

wash with cold water. Wet your hair normally. Pour the shampoo into your hand and then apply

to your hair; massage gently. Be sure to rinse your hair thoroughly. Wash your hair at least 1-2

times per week to eliminate product build-up and tangles. Wash and condition the hair in the

same direction as not to cause tangles. Use a clarifying shampoo to remove product build up. For

normal washing Organix Moroccan oil products and Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care

products work well on the hair.

Conditioning:

Select the appropriate conditioner for your hair type and extensions. Dryness can be a challenge

and it is important to keep your hair moisturized to keep your hair soft and shiny to prevent

damage. Apply conditioner to the middle and ends of your hair; gently work the conditioner into

your hair and leave on for 5-10 mins. If your hair tangles; use a wide tooth comb to gently work

them out while the conditioner is still in your hair. Rinse hair with luke warm water. Deep

condition your extensions to make the hair shiny and vibrant. Please follow instructions on the

conditioner as not to over condition the hair. Dry your hair by blotting with a towel; Do not rub. If

you blow dry your hair; try to keep the dryer as far away from your hair as possible and

minimize heat. Use heat protectant; blow dryer comb attachments are not recommended.

Recommended Products: Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo & Conditioner;

Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo & Conditioner; Organix Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo

and conditioner; Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner.

DO NOT USE: Shea Moisture Hair line products or Crème of Natural Argan Oil.

Styling:

After washing and conditioning apply a good spray leave on conditioning product; use this to

freshen the hair while washing. Always leave a leave-in conditioner or lightweight oil on the hair

so that it will not dry out. Wash your hair immediately after swimming, spa, exercise, etc. Hair will

typically become tangled when dirt and sweat accumulate. Too much leave-in conditioner or

other hair care products will create a build up on the hair causing it to tangle faster. Use a

clarifying shampoo to remove product build-up.

Hair Curling & Ironing:

We recommend 160-180 Celsius degree or 320-360 Fahrenheit degree. Human hair can be

damaged if the temperature is too high without proper time control and heat protectant. If hair

becomes damaged it will lose its natural curl/wave pattern or have dry, brittle ends. Heat

damage cannot be reversed. Coarser textures are more prone to heat damage and dryness. Use

a styling serum to prevent frizz, seal in your hairs and add shine. I recommend BioSilk product
using iron.

Recommended products for dying your extensions:

REVLON COLORSILK DYE is strongly RECOMMENDED; deep condition the hair after dye which will

protect the hair from being dry, condition the hair well after dye which is very important! Poor

quality dye products will damage the hair; we will not be responsible for customer improper

process. Please pay attention to time control. If you are not experienced with coloring hair, DO

NOT experiment on your new virgin hair, please consult with a professional stylist.

HOW TO BLEACH KNOTS ON LACE:
Products to use:

*Clairol BW2 Powder

*Salon Care 30 Volume Crème Developer

*Shimmer Lights Shampoo (optional)

There is a 10/20/30/40 volume developer, We DO NOT RECOMMEND 40 Volume if you have never
had experience with it.

Procedure:
1)Mix bleach powder and developer in mixing bowl and get consistency like cake batter.

2) Use a soft brush to slightly apply the moisture on the lace so that he does not go through the lace to be over processed.

3)Fold the closure or frontal in aluminum foil for about 10-15 minutes. Check the knots every 5 minutes; this will help ensure that you remove the bleach to avoid over-processing.

4)Rinse it out with cool water and wash the Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner.

Tips:

-30 volume developer is safe for home bleach work.

-15 minutes is maximal for processing our lace products; if processed for 20-25 minutes risk over-processing that will lead to massive shedding!

-Tap mixture on the knots gently; Do not paint the lace thick, use pressure or slather the bleach. Remember the solution will begin to bubble and expand.

-Shimmer lights is good for color correction and helps remove dull orange; brassiness; in order to give natural look.

PLEASE NOTE that chemical process is professional work, takes time and consistency; if you are not experienced consult with a stylist. Don't risk taking a chance on your newly hair investment.

DO's:

Braid your weave before sleep overnight.

Comb curly hair gently with your fingers from top to end.

Co-Wash hair before install; shampoo/condition at least once week.

3 months is maximum for weave on head; re-install after natural hair having 1-2 weeks break.

DON'TS

Don't double layer weft for sew-in; will easy lead to matting.

If necessary to not cut weft during install; causes shedding; please use sealing if need to cut weft.
Avoid alcohol/sulfate based products to avoid drying out your virgin hair.
Don't use Shea Moisture or Crème Nature products.
